All applications for specialty programs at Callaway High School are linked with the district timeline that can be found on the district Advance Academic webpage. One of the opportunities at Callaway High School is Dual Enrollment (Hinds Community College). Additional opportunities are available through the districts of Jackson - Tougaloo Early College High School (J-TECHS) and Jackson Middle College (JMC).
Exception Education Department has a variety of support services for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act — 1997 Reauthorization (IDEA 2004). Callaway High School ffers programs that provide academic, behavioral and related service support in a specialized learning environment that meets the students' unique needs in their least restrictive environment. General Exceptional Services Information can be obtained from the grade level Academic Counselor at Callaway High School or ÃÙȦ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ District Exceptional Education Service through the Exceptional Education office.
Attending the Career Development Center/ Vocational Education is another option available to students in their Junior and Senior year of school. These 17 career and technical disciplines receive industry certification quality training, meet industry standards for employment, offer national certifications along with dual enrollment opportunities.
