    Goals
Spann Elementary will be safe, orderly, and clean.
All children will learn in a nurturing classroom environment.
Parents will actively participate in their child's education.
Community involvement will enhance our total school program

    Morning Routine
All students will enter the building between 7 a.m.-7:45 a.m. and move directly to the cafeteria for breakfast. No student should stop by the restroom or a classroom before going to the cafeteria. After breakfast, students will sit in the hall in front of their classrooms. Students are to read or complete assignments. Assistants will be stationed in the hallways to monitor.

    School Start & End Times
Tardy: Students will be marked tardy after 7:45 a.m
Dismissal: Dismissal for the day is 2:30 p.m

    Breakfast & Lunch
All ÃÙȦ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch meals during the 2022–2023 school year as part of the Community Eligibility Program (CEP). It provides an alternative approach for offering school meals to local educational agencies and schools in low-income areas, instead of collecting individual applications for free and reduced-price meals. The CEP allows schools that predominantly serve low-income children to offer free, nutritious school meals to all students through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
    What makes a TRAY?
Students have a choice of a protein, grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk.
Students have to select a minimum of 3 items or a maximum of 5 items.  This must include a fruit and vegetable.

    Physical Education
All students at Spann have 30 minutes a day of PE for a total of 150 minutes a week.
This consists of scheduled instruction by the classroom teacher.
