Dr. Shemeka McClung
Dr. Shemeka Sutton-McClung returned to the District from Pearson Virtual Schools. She led a team of analysts devoted to providing services in academic and socialization areas for student academic growth and personal development. Before joining the Pearson family, she was the Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment at Jackson State University. While at JSU, she served in various leadership roles and capacities, including university accreditation and strategic planning.
Her previous tenure in the District includes serving as District Director for Student Support, Principal and Assistant Principal of Lanier High School, and classroom teacher at Callaway, Lanier, and Wingfield High Schools. As a district and school leader, she led various projects and initiatives, including personnel administration and supervision, curriculum and instruction, professional development, school finance, student development, and testing and assessment. Her specialty areas include data analysis, instructional leadership, professional development, school management, and student growth. She started her career at ÃÙȦ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ teaching various science subjects, including Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Genetics, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and Physics, to name a few.
Dr. McClung holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jackson State University. She completed her Master of Science in Teaching, Education Specialist in Educational Administration & Leadership, and Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Administration & Leadership degrees at Jackson State University.

Mr. Clifton Murray
Mr. Murray is a dedicated and accomplished school administrator with a proven track record of supporting educational leadership through the implementation of effective programs and policies. He excels at providing administrative oversight, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture, and promoting academic excellence. A collaborative leader, Mr. Murray works closely with staff, scholars, parents, and community stakeholders to drive meaningful improvements in scholar achievement and overall school success.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Murray has deep ties to Mississippi, where he attended the Piney Woods School and Jackson State University. While at Jackson State, he was an active member of the renowned Sonic Boom of the South Marching Band and other musical ensembles, an experience that inspired his lifelong passion for music education and leadership. With over 15 years of experience in music instruction, Mr. Murray has guided countless scholars to achieve musical excellence, with many earning opportunities to perform and study at prestigious colleges and universities across the nation. Mr. Murray is also a proud graduate of Central Michigan University and currently attending Liberty University to attain his Doctorate in Education K-12 Leadership.
With eight years of experience as a secondary-level assistant principal, Mr. Murray is committed to creating positive and inclusive learning environments that empower scholars and staff to thrive. He is highly skilled at implementing effective disciplinary systems, supporting teacher development, and collaborating on school-wide policies that promote equity, diversity, and academic success. Known for his ability to build strong relationships with scholars, parents, and community stakeholders, Mr. Murray has been instrumental in cultivating a thriving school culture focused on holistic growth and scholar achievement.

Mr. Kelly Martin
Mr. Kelly O. Martin is an Assistant Principal at Callaway High School. A proud product of the Chicago Public Schools system, he graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1993. Mr. Martin continued his education at Jackson State University, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Special Education and Mass Communications in 1999. He furthered his educational journey by obtaining a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College.
With 22 years of experience, Mr. Martin has served as a classroom instructor, coach, and administrator across various districts, including Canton, Madison County, and Leake County schools. He brings knowledge and passion to his role, enthusiastically leading as the 11th-grade principal in his second year at Callaway High School.
Aside from professional duties, Mr. Martin is a dedicated family man. He has been married to his wife, Terkedia, for 22 years, and together they have four children, Nia, Aston, Ashlin, and Avery, and two grandchildren, Za'Niya and Madisyn. In his free time, Mr. Martin enjoys attending sporting events, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Mrs. Corice Greenwood
I am Corice Greenwood, a native of Canton, MS. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in education from THEE Jackson State University and a specialist in Education Leadership from Mississippi College. After completing my bachelor's in education from Jackson State University, I entered the world of teaching to explore my passion for teaching and helping students in today's society. Besides my primary job functions, I was also recognized by my Sorority (Tau Phi Zeta) for my commitment to community service and for demonstrating comradely love in our community.
